American Panel Corporation manufactures both Addressed Cell Assembly (ACA) and Display Head Assembly (DHA) configurations of Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD)-based product. APC performs a receiving inspection upon receipt of glass from LG Display, identifying any discrepancies and initiating corrective action. APC Manufacturing uses nearly $3.0M in capital investment to develop our products. We are certified as an ISO 9001:2008 company using flexible flow lines designed for Lean Manufacturing. We have our own dedicated surface mount PCB line incorporating flexible pick and place equipment from Assembleon, automated PCB board router, a programmable selective solder machine, dual batch cleaning and de-fluxing system and automated conformal coating equipment. APC uses dedicated Test and Engineering work areas incorporating automated flat panel display measurement and tuning equipment, a high speed 4 megapixel AOI inspection system and environmental stress chambers. We are expanding our Class 100 clean room in 2016 to facilitate greater production of Large Area Display wet lamination. APC also has 4 tab-bonding systems for affixing the newly designed PCB display interface boards to the AMLCD.
